Pray For Okowa to Finish Stronger, Kenneth Gbagi Urges Deltans, Described APC as a sick Party

... Describes APC As Party In Comatose

The newly installed Aare Atunluse of Akure kingdom and leading governorship aspirant in Delta State, Olorogun Barr. Kenneth Gbagi, has called on Deltans to intercede on behalf of the administration of Dr. Ifeanyi Okowa, to enable him finish stronger.

"Let us support Okowa, with our wonderful prayers so he would finish even stronger", Gbagi admonished

Gbagi made the appeal on Saturday October 16th 2021, when Ewu, Okparabe and Ahravwarien Elders, Leaders and Youth Councils honoured one of their own, Olorogun Jennifer Oma Adasen, on her appointment as Commissioner for Science and Technology by the State governor at
Eghereka Primary School, Ewu, Ughelli south local government area.

The former minister of education and prominent gubernatorial hopeful, disclosed that Dr. Okowa, has distinguished himself as most outstanding governor since the creation of the State.

"Okowa, without hesitation, is the best governor we have had since 1999. In saying so, the facts are there and they speak volumes", Gbagi, noted.

Speaking on the forthcoming election, the philanthropist, reiterated that the 2023 governorship election is not for boys but for those who have cut their teeth in the political space.

Hear him: "At the appropriate time, we will separate the boys from the children and we will separate the children from their parents. What is worth doing, is worth doing well", Gbagi stressed.

He called on the youths to turn out enmass at the Sapele Stadium, venue of the Peoples' Democratic Party (PDP), Mega Rally scheduled for Saturday October 23rd 2021.

"Finally, young men, on Saturday next week we are going to show ourselves in Sapele, where I will Jarrett and prove to you that we can do a bit of break dancing", he said.

Meanwhile, the entrepreneur, has described the opposition party in the State and ruling All Progressives Congress (APC), at the centre, as a sickness party bereaved of ideas.

He said the party has brought untold hardship particularly poverty to Nigerians and should not be taken seriously come 2023.

"APC is sickness party, a lot of people have left the sickness party to the PDP because it is the only party in Africa that cares for the young, old and aged people.

"Are we going to believe in a party that brought our mothers, sisters and brothers to poverty. Is that the party you want?

"When I left as minister, we have N157 to a dollar. Today, it is N600 to a dollar, we are heading to N1000 to a dollar, if we are not careful. Is that where we want to go?

"I plead with you, APC is not an option, PDP is the only option. Join hands, we are not the best, we may not be the best but we will make it better", he assured.

The security expert tasked Ewu people to appreciate what God has done for them, pointing out that at the appropriate time, "they will get more".

According to him, "Jennifer, all that I will tell you, is that you will go places. All you need to do, is to carry your people of Arhavwarien along with you but whether anybody like it or not, you will go to places.

"I want to beg you that today is Jennifer's day. So, I am not going to make campaign speeches. Let us support her with our prayers to succeed

"I want to use this medium to plead with our teeming youths, unless government do what is necessary to recognize and put out all youths from the street and engage them with proper employment and source of livelihood, we have not started.

He charged leaders in the council area to stand up for the truth at times, "Leaders of Ughelli south must stand at all times to speak the truth"

Setting the records straight, Gbagi, said: "When Jennifer Oma Adasen, is the first Commissioner from this axis, I was the first minister from Ughelli south axis. In 1998 towards 1999, I sponsored Akpor Pius Ewherido, to the House of Assembly. So, it is not true that these people here have been bedevilled by bad government.

"The young man who just spoke Hon. Paul Etaga, was brought to my house by Chief Oguma, he said he wants Etega to be chairman of the local government, without hesitation, I endorsed him, that was how he became the chairman of the local government", he recalled.
