GOMEPN Secretary  Call  On  Delta Assembly to  sets up committee to probe ‘diversion’ of first phase palliatives The National Secretary, Guild of Online Media Editors/ Publishers Of Nigeria GOMEP, Omiragwa Akpovoke Otiti  has Urged   Delta State House of Assembly to set up  a seven-man committee to investigate the alleged diversion of palliatives meant to cushion the impacts of the removal of petrol subsidy in Delta State. Otiti  said most of the first phase of  palliatives, particularly rice, were seen at marketplaces as they were sold to traders in the state. While  Urging  the  Department of State Services (DSS) to look into the matter and   arrest those committee  members of a syndicate reportedly diverting palliatives in the state, before the commencement of the  second phase take effect  Speaking ! That is it  a  matter of public interest “It is sad and very disappointing that some people are sabotaging the good intention of Mr. President and Gov. Sheriff Oborevwori
