However, Buhari vowed, before then he would do his best to advance the interest of the nation and its people, and carry out his duties as prescribed by the Constitution. The President said these on the occasion of his birthday, celebrated in Turkey, during his bilateral meeting with Recep Tayyip Erdogan, his Turkish counterpart, just before the commencement of the 3rd Turkey-Africa Partnership Summit in Istanbul. Buhari also said Nigeria will partner the Republic of Turkey in dealing with the current security challenges facing the nation in his efforts at keeping Nigerians safer. See Names, Photograhs of Inmates Who Escaped from Jos Prison after Jail Break The federal government has released the names and pictures of some of the inmates who escaped from custody after the attack on the facility of Jos Correctional Center in Plateau State. It will be recalled as earlier reported that gunmen suspected to be bandits attacked the facility on Sunday. Speaking on the incident, the controller of corrections (PRO) of the Nigerian Correctional Service (NCoS)  Francis Enobore  said  the attacker opened fire on the security operatives guarding the correctional centre before they gained entrance. In an update on Monday, Enobore disclosed that nine inmates died and six others were injured during the gun duel between the attackers and Armed Squad officers of the service.
