The Minister for Women Affairs, Uju Kennedy Ohanenye and leader of the Niger Delta Volunteer Force, Asari Dakubo, organised Nigerian women for a mass national peace rally against the up coming protest. Uju Kennedy called for calm while speaking at a rally in Abuja, stating that mothers and youth leaders should key into President Bola Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda by ensuring peace, unity and progress of the country. Ohanenye said the progress and the desired good governance Nigerians are craving for can only be achieved in a peaceful nation and not in protests and chaos.
