The people of Ukwagba Ngbo in Ohaukwu local government area of Ebonyi State, were on Monday thrown into mourning as many were suspected killed in their communities by suspected gunmen numbering over 20. Two villages in the community namely: Ojiugo and Okpochiri were affected by the attacks with at least one person confirmed dead by residents. Residents said the casualty figures could be higher as many persons are still missing. 2023 Presidency: Court fixes July 20 to hear suit querying Atiku’s citizenship The Federal High Court sitting in Abuja, on Tuesday, slated July 20 to hear the fresh suit that is challenging the eligibility of former Vice President, Atiku Abubakar, to contest the 2023 presidential election. The court, in a ruling that was delivered by Justice Taiwo Taiwo, ordered substituted service of all the legal processes on Atiku to enable him to respond to the suit. It directed that the former VP, who is the presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, should be served within seven days, through publication of the court processes in a national daily. Fuel scarcity: No reasonable person can sell below N180 per litre – IPMAN Despite the gradual build up of fuel scarcity in Lagos and some parts of the country, the Independent Petroleum Marketers Association of Nigeria (IPMAN) has insisted that its members were not on strike. The association however stated that its members have not been operating optimally because of the hostile operating environment. The Lagos Zonal Chairman of IPMAN, Akin Akinrinade gave the explanation in an interview with  Channels Television . However, many passengers were stranded at various bus stops in Lagos on Monday morning due to low turnout of commercial vehicles attributed to fuel scarcity. Some petrol stations in Lagos this Tuesday morning were not dispensing petrol and the few that did so experienced a deluge of buyers.
