Communities in Delta endorse Obomovo for 2027 House of Reps seat

A wave of political momentum is building in Delta State as communities across Isoko North Local Government Area have thrown their weight behind prominent real estate developer and All Progressives Congress (APC) aspirant, Sir Blessing Oghale Obomovo, endorsing him as their sole candidate for the Isoko Federal Constituency seat ahead of the 2027 general elections. The endorsement, described by stakeholders as historic and unanimous, came during a well-attended gathering held on Tuesday at Opute Hall in Ozoro. The event drew political leaders, traditional authorities, women groups, and youth representatives from Ozoro and Otor-Owhe Kingdoms, all united in support of Obomovo’s candidacy. Delta APC Hails Arenyeka-led Exco, Dismisses Claims Of Crisis

Delta State chapter of the All Progressives Congress (APC) has congratulated its newly elected state chairman, Chief Solomon Arenyeka and members of the State Executive Committee following what it described as a successful party congress. The party also dismissed reports alleging a crisis within its ranks after the exercise. According to the party, the ward, local government and state congresses conducted across Delta State were peaceful, transparent and successful, leading to the emergence of a new State Executive Committee headed by Arenyeka through a consensus arrangement widely supported by stakeholders. The statement noted that the outcome of the congresses reflected the collective will of party leaders and members across the state and underscored the party’s commitment to unity and inclusiveness.
