Bayelsa Set To Join National Homegrown School Feeding Programme Bayelsa State Government has unveiled plans to participate in the National Homegrown School Feeding Programme (NHGSFP) for Primary 1-3 pupils by the next school term. The Commissioner for Education Mr. Gentle Emelah disclosed this on Tuesday, during a high-level meeting with the Permanent Secretary of the State, the Ministry of Education, State Focal Person and a team deployed by the Ministry of Humanitarian Affairs, Disaster Management and Social Development to Bayelsa to conduct a second technical assessment visit to ensure that the state government buys into the School Feeding Programme.
