Suspected armed robber Killed in Ughelli South Delta State, an incident at Orhuwhorun-Usiefrun road

Suspected armed robber was lynched by local security operatives in Usiefrun Community, Ughelli South Local Government Area of Delta State on Wednesday.

The incident occurred along Orhuwhorun-Usiefrun road on Wednesday night when the suspected armed robber was caught attempting to dispossess residents of their belongings.

It was learnt that the local security operatives were alerted the presence of the armed robbers in the area and they quickly swung into action and apprehended one while others escaped.

The local security operatives and angry mobs refused to handover the suspect to the police having recounted their ordeals in the hands of the suspected armed robbers and they immediately set Tyre on the suspect and burnt him to death.

When contacted, the Delta State PPRO, DSP Bright Edafe said he is yet to be informed at the time of this report published by Congress News.
