To enhance the welfare of its personnel the Nigerian Navy Ship Delta has rehabilitated a 24-bed space ‘Arrival Hall’ for junior rating deployed to the unit.
Commissioning the project at the Naval Base, Warri, yesterday, the Flag Officer Commanding, Central Naval Command (CNC), Rear Admiral Kennedy Egbuchulam, praised the Commander, NNS Delta, Commodore Abdulhamid Baba-Inna for executing the project.
“I am very glad and impressed judging by the appearance and what I have seen of the NNS Delta. I want to commend the Command and his team for a job well done.
“It is my privilege to commission this rehabilitated arrival hall to the glory of God and benefit of mankind, particularly, ratings drafted to Nigerian Navy Ship Delta,” the FOC said.
He further unveiled the plaque and inspected the hall which has an office space, bed spaces for male and female ratings, as well as conveniences.
