Yuletide season: Delta State Government Attracting Investors With Assurance of peace, Security.....Ezekiel Daniel



Delta state government has given peace assurance to investors, urging them to take advantage of the state Governor's provision, as Sen. Dr. Ifeanyi Okowa is relentless in his efforts to provide safe and secured Delta State for all-round investment. 

This was made known during the Weekend 

in a working visit by the Senior Special Assistant to the Governor on Security, Comrade Ezekiel Daniel to the Assistant Inspector General of Police, Dibal Yakadi in Benin.

The SSA to the governor Urged Deltans to make security their business and help boost  investors confidence to enable them create jabs with their investment in the State, he added  that without security investors will not see the state as a safe place to invest their money and create job opportunities.

 In a statement the SSA to the governor noted that Delta states is amongst States that are under zone 5, Police Command, Benin Edo state as Delta  and Bayelsa works hand in hand with  the AIG to ensure security in the Niger Delta."

Ezekiel Daniel commended the AIG for his attentiveness to calls as regards combating every form of crime especially kidnapping.

The Governor's aid also seek synergy with the Nigerian Police  in the are of security to enhance protection of lives and properties of  Deltas. 

The SSA  called on the AIG to  work with his office in the area of sharing information and intelligent gathering which is key ingredients in carrying out successful security operation.

The AIG who commended the state Governor  for appointing a vibrant  young men like comrade Ezekiel Daniel into his government,  appreciated the visit, adding that the visit afforded them the platform to  brainstorm  on security matters. He asserted that since he resumed office,  that SSA was the first government appointee to pay him a visit  and urge him not to relent in his effort for safe society.  AIG disclosed that a lot of security strategies are being rolled out across the zone , especially in this yuletide season to keep criminals at bay . 

 Dibal Yakadi  said that they are servant of the people so  him picking his calls should not be seen as a big deal, and promised to work with comrade Ezekiel Daniel, urged him to feel free to reach him at any point in time  for collaboration .

Retired police officers protest over unpaid pensions

Some retired police officers under the contributory pension scheme on Tuesday, May 21, protested at the National Assembly over alleged several months of unpaid pensions with a call on President Bola Tinubu to remove them from the scheme. The protesters decried the extreme challenges they endure, saying that the National Pension Commission (PENCOM) has failed to pay their entitlements for several months causing them and their families untold hardship.
