DBS Mourns as Mudiaga Asagba Bows Out in Death

Members and staff of the Delta Broadcasting Service DBS has been thrown into mourning as a Frontline Journalist, a former staff of DBS Henry Mudiaga Asagba dies in Abuja yesterday.

It was also gathered that the Deputy Senate President, Senator Ovie Omo-Agege also mourns over the death of his Media Aide, Henry Mudiaga Asagba.

A staff of the Station, Comrade Harold IKOKO, AKA i shall not Die said Mudiaga Asagba remained part of the station even though he left to work with other establishment and eventualy got appointment as a Media aide to Senator Ovie Omo-Agege before the sodden death.

Retired police officers protest over unpaid pensions

Some retired police officers under the contributory pension scheme on Tuesday, May 21, protested at the National Assembly over alleged several months of unpaid pensions with a call on President Bola Tinubu to remove them from the scheme. The protesters decried the extreme challenges they endure, saying that the National Pension Commission (PENCOM) has failed to pay their entitlements for several months causing them and their families untold hardship. The aggrieved retired police officers also wrote a Save Our Soul (SOS) letter to the President of the Senate, Godswill Akpabio, calling for an urgent intervention.
