Season Greetings: SDP Candidate Gbagi Gives Hope to Deltans, Reaffirm Commitment to Liberate Delta in 2023

The Governorship candidate of the Social Democratic Party (SDP), in Delta state, Olorogun Barr. Kenneth Gbagi, OON, has used the Christmas celebration to pledge for a better and new Delta State if elected in 2023.

Gbagi who is a former Minister of

Education said this in his Christmas message made available to newsmen in Oginibo, Ughelli South Local Government area on Sunday 25th, December 2022.

The SDP candidate observed that his few months of campaign tour in the State had shown that one thing was clear, the people of Delta had a dream of a better life and a state that worked for them.

He said that many of them wished for a different Christmas and indeed a different life than what they had now. Come 2023 Delta State will be liberated into a new government that will industrialize the state, create jobs, and confronts poverty.

“So this Christmas, I bring you warm wishes of hope and prayers of peace in your homes and a better Delta State. With God on our side, we are going to win the election, and 2023 will be better and we all will enjoy the new Delta State"

The Academic Staff Union of Universities, ASUU, has suspended its two-week warning strike it declared last week across all public universities in the country. The union announced the suspension on Wednesday at a press conference held at its headquarters in Abuja. Woman Burned to Death, Accused of Kidnapping 7yrs Old Boy in Delta
