Labour Party to Adopt Gbagi of SDP as their Governorship Candidate in Delta

The gubernatorial candidate of the Social Democratic Party (SDP), Olorogun Kenneth Gbagi has confirmed support from the presidential candidate of the Labour Party, Peter Obi, adding that some Labour party leaders in Delta State has agreed to publicly adopt and endorse him, (Gbagi).

The industrialist made this known while addressing issues affecting the state during a meeting with clergymen on Wednesday 28, December 2022 at the Diocese of Sapele, Anglican Communion, Christ Church Pro-Cathedral, in Sapele. He revealed that the Labour party would deliver his governorship ambition in Delta State.

Labour Party leader in Delta North who pleaded anonymity disclosed that the party needed someone who have the resources to contest vigorously against other parties and contribute to the victory of the labor party's Presidential candidate, Peter Obi.

According to him, they expect that the State's Labour Party Gubernatorial candidate, Mr. Ken Pela would come to terms with the development.

Our source also hinted that Gbagi has concluded plans to meet with the organizers of the October 1 rally of supporters of the Labour Party, Presidential Candidate once LP executives are ready to make the adoption public.
