Liberate Delta @ Aniocha South: SDP on Issue Based Campaign as Gbagi Moves for The well-being of Delta State

Liberate Delta @ Aniocha South: SDP on
Issue Based Campaign as Gbagi Moves for The well-being of Delta State

A member of Ubulu 82 Club, Mr. Peter Udeni Ugbaja, has described the gubernatorial candidate of the Social Democratic Party (SDP) and former minister of State for education, Olorogun Barr. Kenneth Gbagi OON, as an exceptional leader, with extraordinary commitment and sacrifice towards the well-being of Delta State and national stability.

Mr. Ugbaja, said this on Saturday December 17, 2022, during the group's interactive session with the SDP governorship candidate in Ubulu-Uku, Aniocha south local government area of the state.

While commending the biggest investor in the state, for his patience, he said "You will stoop to conquer in the forthcoming elections.

His words: "I want to thank you, Chief Gbagi. There is one thing that I have just observed in you and that trait is that of patience.

"I know the circumstances that surrounded this meeting, there was communication gap and all of that but in all, you were not perturbed.

"The same way you stood to wait for this gathering, the same way also you are going to stoop and conquer.

"From all you have said, I am begining to blink some hope and aspiration that if your aspiration actually comes to pass, we are going to have hope in this state", he noted.

Speaking on one of the governorship candidates whose name he withheld, he said; "I interacted with one of the governorship candidates some years ago.

"We happen to have property in the same street. I spoke one-on-one with him. What he did was to pull off his cap and showed me some marks on his head.

"When I asked him, what are those marks? He said these are injuries he incurred in the course of thuggery and to that extent, I have paid my dues".

He wondered the kind of leadership such a person would bring to bear, saying "haven paid his dues in that form, I believe that when he comes onboard, he will expect that other people will pay their dues by having  cutlass cuttings.

"I want to thank you once again for the patience that you have so far exhibited and I ask that you continue with it.

"In this present dispensation, I thank God that the awareness is on. A time will come when you will see people vote individual and not party and that is what I am going to do and preach.

"Haven seen your pedigree, I cannot but agree to your submission".

He disagreed with the promise of the governorship candidate whose name he did not disclosed to do more, saying; "It is not a question that you are going to do more.
"If you understand that word that you are going to do mory, it means the suffering, pains and our disagreements will be more.

"If you want to do something, you had better pencil it down and say this is what I want to do", he said.

He expressed hope to have the SDP flag bearer, Olorogun Gbagi, back again for another round of a robust interactive session to cross fertilize ideas where there would be a fuller house of members and other stakeholders.

Also, the Chapter treasurer, Mr  Leme Ojinji, corroborated Gbagi's position on the suffering of pensioners and retirees across the state.

According to him, "all that you have said is true, I am a victim of some of the hardship of the federal and State governments especially the retirees.

"So, we have accepted the appeal that you have made. We will go back and look and take an appraisal and spread the gospel that we have a man that can change the narrative and that is Gbagi for governor", he added.

Olu Of Warri Defends Tradition, Speaks on Christianity

Olu Of Warri Defends Tradition, Speaks on Christianity  The Olu of Warri, His Majesty Ã’gíamẹ̀ Atúwàtse III, has dispelled the insinuation that there is a conflict between the traditional thrones and Christendom. The monarch, who stated this when he received the Soun of Ogbomoso land, Oba Ghandi Afolabi Olaoye, Orumogege III, in his Palace in Warri Kingdom, Delta State, said that the two institutions were not necessarily antithetical. He also debunked the assumption that traditional institutions were synonymous with fetishism and the worship of creations made by human beings and reasoning. He, however, noted that the two institutions can play complementary role that will contribute to the growth and development of the country. The Olu, who said he was elated by the Soun’s visit, said the new Ogbomoso monarch’s choice of Warri kingdom as his first place of visit was divinely directed, just as his choice for the throne was divinely ordained. He said that they owe i

Many Benefited as Tantita Save Niger Delta From Enviromental Ruins  It is on record over the past twenty years in the Niger Delta region, South-South Nigeria where incessant fire disaster and untimely death was on the increase in weekly basis as result of the activities of illegal oil bunkering, especially the process of local refining popularly known as Kpo-Fire. The menace also renders our young married ladies widows in the ljaw riverine communities because most of their life partners venture into the Kpo-Fire business due to its lucrative nature in making quick money. To proof your doubt, take a tour to any of the ljaw riverine communities across Burutu, Warri South-West, Bomadi, Patani in Delta State, and Southern ljaw, Ekeremor, Nembe and Brass LGAs in Bayelsa State, you will discovered that most of our youths are facially disfigured in parts of their body as result of severe fire accident incurred during cooking and burning (refining) of crude oil to kerosene, fuel and desiel for
