Niger-Delta Activist, Israel Joe Berates Northern Elders, Backs Southern Governors Move for 2023

Niger-Delta Activist, Comrade Israel Joe has berated Northern elders forum over unguided statement that "The North must continue to rule Nigeria due to their numbers and whoever doesn’t like it could leave Nigeria"

The speaking on behalf of the youths in Southern Nigeria, the rights activists said that, "The statement credited to Elder Hakeem Baba-Ahmed who is the director of Publicity and Advocacy of the Northern Elders Forum when he delivered a lecture on Saturday 18th of September at a series organized by the student wing of Coalition of Northern Group in the Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria was primitive.

It was gathered that, the northern elders body said that  "The north must continue to rule Nigeria due to their numbers and whoever doesn’t like it could leave Nigeria".

Israel Joe who berated them noted that The spokesperson has also seen Northerners as the owners of Nigeria while placing discontentment on the position of the Southern governors’ forum declaring that Southern Nigeria should produce the next president, by saying the North are first class citizens and would not accept the second.

"The youths of the South wishes to state categorically that such statements speak so poorly of a highly placed northern elder as Hakeem Baba-Ahmed. We stand to back the position of the Southern governors that the South should produce the Next President. What election can the North win alone without the input of any Southern region? It is important to state that Southern Nigeria would never also play a second fiddle in the next election".

"While we wish to allay the defects of a federal system in terms of majority domination, the north should be conscious also that Southern Nigeria also have a monopoly of the Nigerian economy and once the north are tired of the marriage done by Lord Lugard in 1914, they can ask for a memorandum and national conference to determine the fate of the union. For sake of equity and trust, we urge the northern political class to refrain from heating the polity as the youths of Southern Nigeria is well prepared to defend the region once we sensed domination in the 2023 politicking".

Olu Of Warri Defends Tradition, Speaks on Christianity

Olu Of Warri Defends Tradition, Speaks on Christianity  The Olu of Warri, His Majesty Ã’gíamẹ̀ Atúwàtse III, has dispelled the insinuation that there is a conflict between the traditional thrones and Christendom. The monarch, who stated this when he received the Soun of Ogbomoso land, Oba Ghandi Afolabi Olaoye, Orumogege III, in his Palace in Warri Kingdom, Delta State, said that the two institutions were not necessarily antithetical. He also debunked the assumption that traditional institutions were synonymous with fetishism and the worship of creations made by human beings and reasoning. He, however, noted that the two institutions can play complementary role that will contribute to the growth and development of the country. The Olu, who said he was elated by the Soun’s visit, said the new Ogbomoso monarch’s choice of Warri kingdom as his first place of visit was divinely directed, just as his choice for the throne was divinely ordained. Many Benefited as Tantita Save Niger Delta From Enviromental Ruins

Many Benefited as Tantita Save Niger Delta From Enviromental Ruins  It is on record over the past twenty years in the Niger Delta region, South-South Nigeria where incessant fire disaster and untimely death was on the increase in weekly basis as result of the activities of illegal oil bunkering, especially the process of local refining popularly known as Kpo-Fire. The menace also renders our young married ladies widows in the ljaw riverine communities because most of their life partners venture into the Kpo-Fire business due to its lucrative nature in making quick money. To proof your doubt, take a tour to any of the ljaw riverine communities across Burutu, Warri South-West, Bomadi, Patani in Delta State, and Southern ljaw, Ekeremor, Nembe and Brass LGAs in Bayelsa State, you will discovered that most of our youths are facially disfigured in parts of their body as result of severe fire accident incurred during cooking and burning (refining) of crude oil to kerosene, fuel and desiel for
