2023 Presidency: Tinubu Campaigning To Suceed Buhari From London – Omokri

Former presidential aide, Reno Omokri has claimed that the former Lagos Governor, Bola Tinubu, is campaigning to succeed President Muhammadu Buhari in 2023 from London.

reports Tinubu has been in London, the United Kingdom, since July and is believed to be recuperating after reportedly undergoing surgery.

While in London, his residence has turned to a pilgrimage site of some sort, playing host to many notable individuals and leaders particularly from the All Progressives Congress (APC).

Among those who have visited the APC National leader includes President Muhammadu Buhari, the Speaker of the House of Representatives, Femi Gbajabiamila, some current and past APC governors and lawmakers.

In a tweet via his Twitter page on Wednesday, Omokri accused Tinubu of campaigning to govern Nigeria from London after spending over a month in the country.

The former aide to ex-President Goodluck Jonathan also claimed President Buhari partially ‘misgoverns’ the country from London.

He, however, wondered why Nigeria gained independence from Britain following the visit of Buhari and Tinubu to the UK.

Omokri wrote: “Bola Tinubu is campaigning to govern Nigeria from London. Buhari partially misgoverns Nigeria from London.

“With the reality of this fact, why did we gain independence from Britain only to shackle ourselves with London based despots who are worse than the British?”

In other news, former Emir of Kano, Lamido Sanusi has expressed optimism that Nigeria will overcome it's many challenges and become a better country.

Sanusi, who is the leader of the Tijjaniyya Movement in Nigeria, however, noted that the change and improvement won’t happen automatically.

For the country to become the Nigeria people dream about, he recommended legitimate action, prayers, and patience.

reports the former Emir spoke on Tuesday in Sokoto State while addressing members of the Tijjaniyya group from the seven North-western states of Nigeria.

He added that though the current situation looks bleak, the citizens can’t afford to give up on Nigeria and must continue to pray for those in positions of authority instead of abusing or cursing them.

Olu Of Warri Defends Tradition, Speaks on Christianity

Olu Of Warri Defends Tradition, Speaks on Christianity  The Olu of Warri, His Majesty Ògíamẹ̀ Atúwàtse III, has dispelled the insinuation that there is a conflict between the traditional thrones and Christendom. The monarch, who stated this when he received the Soun of Ogbomoso land, Oba Ghandi Afolabi Olaoye, Orumogege III, in his Palace in Warri Kingdom, Delta State, said that the two institutions were not necessarily antithetical. He also debunked the assumption that traditional institutions were synonymous with fetishism and the worship of creations made by human beings and reasoning. He, however, noted that the two institutions can play complementary role that will contribute to the growth and development of the country. The Olu, who said he was elated by the Soun’s visit, said the new Ogbomoso monarch’s choice of Warri kingdom as his first place of visit was divinely directed, just as his choice for the throne was divinely ordained. He said that they owe i

Many Benefited as Tantita Save Niger Delta From Enviromental Ruins  It is on record over the past twenty years in the Niger Delta region, South-South Nigeria where incessant fire disaster and untimely death was on the increase in weekly basis as result of the activities of illegal oil bunkering, especially the process of local refining popularly known as Kpo-Fire. The menace also renders our young married ladies widows in the ljaw riverine communities because most of their life partners venture into the Kpo-Fire business due to its lucrative nature in making quick money. To proof your doubt, take a tour to any of the ljaw riverine communities across Burutu, Warri South-West, Bomadi, Patani in Delta State, and Southern ljaw, Ekeremor, Nembe and Brass LGAs in Bayelsa State, you will discovered that most of our youths are facially disfigured in parts of their body as result of severe fire accident incurred during cooking and burning (refining) of crude oil to kerosene, fuel and desiel for
