The group said on the mismanagement that had previously bedeviled the NDDC, a forensic audit was set up and the result is expected by the end of July, 2021. I want to assure you that as soon as the forensic audit report is submitted and accepted, the NDDC Board will be inaugurated.”

They said they are wondering why President Buhari till date has not said anything about the report and the inauguration of the substantive board and he is not taking any step to address the issues surrounding the inauguration of the NDDC board.

On the forensic audit report, the group insisted that there should be transparency in the implementation of the audit report because it is considered an integrity test and charged Buhari to make the Forensic report public for the purpose of accessibility and acceptability.

According to the group the people of the Niger Delta region deserve to know every detail relating to the report of the forensic audit, insisting that there should be hiding agenda in the implementation of the forensic audited report.
