Baba Ijesha: Princess makes more shocking revelations about minor

Comedienne -cum- actress Damilola Adekoya aka Princess on Tuesday made more shocking revelations about the minor involved in the alleged assault case of Olanrewaju ‘Baba Ijesha’ Omiyinka’s at the Lagos State Special Offences Court in Ikeja.

Baba Ijesha has been in the eye of the storm since April 22, 2021 when Lagos Police Command arrested him for allegedly sexually assaulting a 14-year-old girl in the care of Princess.

Princess alleged on two occasions the minor was harrased by a neighbour in December 2020 but she found out in April 2021 when Baba Ijesha’s case was at the police station.

Responding to questions from the cross-examination by Baba Ijesha’s defence counsel, Princess said: “Damola Adekola is my neighbour. I took him as a younger brother because his mom was late.

“He was arrested because he tried to harrass the minor in December.

“He put his hands on her laps and asked her to touch his private part. It happened in December 2020 in my flat.

“It happened around 9:30pm, I was at a meeting around Sabo when it happened.

“On two occasions, the foster daughter was almost molested by the neighbor but she screamed.”

Retired police officers protest over unpaid pensions

Some retired police officers under the contributory pension scheme on Tuesday, May 21, protested at the National Assembly over alleged several months of unpaid pensions with a call on President Bola Tinubu to remove them from the scheme.
