 Workers Day: OML 42 Odidi Youth Leader Truston Gbenekama appreciates NECONDE, NPDC JV, Urge them to address Poor Welfare, unissued employment letter


Workers Day: the President of Odidi Youth Development Council, Warri South-West LGA Delta state, Comr. Truston Gbenekama, of HSE Odidi Field, OML 42 has appreciated the NECONDE Nigeria Petroleum Development Company, NPDC joint venture.


In his statement made available to FocalPoint Reports in Warri, the Youth leader, Truston Gbenekama asked the oil forms to provide a friendly working environment to accommodate the welfare of workers.
In his remarks, he said," I appreciate our employers for the opportunity to serve in their reputable Oil and Gas firm considering the unemployment rate the country".

"However the following issues are negatively affecting your employees who are dying silently for the fear of being sacked".

"1. Epileptic Salary Payment.
2. Poor Welfare
3. Substandard Salary Structure
4. No increment after promotion
5. No allowances
6. No Covid 19 benefit
7. Improper time off
 schedule 
8. No employment letter etc". 

"It is my humble submission that as we celebrate the Nigerian workers today May 1st 2021, our esteemed management would critically analyse these issues and provide better working conditions for the OML 42  Workers. Long live our employers
