Edging close to the 2023 Delta state governorship, Chief Kenneth Gbagi solidarity team has declared what they described as operation show your credentials Operation show your credentials.

Leader of the team, Dr Broka Felix yeaterday lainched the campeign, declearing a show of credentials As the battle for the number one seat in Delta state commence, one thing that the electorates must bear in mind is the need for all aspirants to show their credentials. The individual to pilit the affairs of our state must be one with impeccable character, a man with a lion heart and one whose wealth is clean not a 'SALARY EARNER'. He must be an individual who have touched the lives of deltans in areas like employment, poverty alleviation, education and job creation. 



He or she must have an investment in the state he desire to govern. Also other areas to look in voting for our next governor includes ability to  attract foreign investors to the state, one who can build bridges within and outside the state, a man with high business acumen, a man that can turn little to plenty.

A man that have succeeded in his personal life as an investor, and above all one who will rather focus on industrialization of our state rather than to share our common resources with godfathers, one who cannot be handtwisted, and one who will not borrow to fund his electioneering  campaign. 
Looking at the credentials, one name that stands tall and comes to mind is

Retired police officers protest over unpaid pensions

Some retired police officers under the contributory pension scheme on Tuesday, May 21, protested at the National Assembly over alleged several months of unpaid pensions with a call on President Bola Tinubu to remove them from the scheme. The protesters decried the extreme challenges they endure, saying that the National Pension Commission (PENCOM) has failed to pay their entitlements for several months causing them and their families untold hardship. The aggrieved retired police officers also wrote a Save Our Soul (SOS) letter to the President of the Senate, Godswill Akpabio, calling for an urgent intervention.
