Urhobo Political Movement Goes Spiritual for Gbagi 2023 govership

A Political pressure group in Delta State, Urhobo Political Movement has gone Spiritual with special prayers for Chief Kenneth Gbagi's 2023 governorship ambition.

The group made the prayer as they welcomed the frontline 2023 Delta State Governorship Aspirant of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Olorogun Kenneth Gbagi to the occasion of the 50th Golden Remembrance of Samuel Jereton Mariere, Former governor of Mid-Western Region 1964-1966, Now Edo/Delta State.

Dr. Barr. UK Mariere JP, son of the Former military governor on Sunday 9th May 2021 pronounced in Evwreni, Ughelli North LGA Delta State that; Kenneth Gbagi will not look for votes, rather votes will be looking for him.

They thanked Chief Kenneth Gbagi for honoring their invitation.

Retired police officers protest over unpaid pensions

Some retired police officers under the contributory pension scheme on Tuesday, May 21, protested at the National Assembly over alleged several months of unpaid pensions with a call on President Bola Tinubu to remove them from the scheme. The protesters decried the extreme challenges they endure, saying that the National Pension Commission (PENCOM) has failed to pay their entitlements for several months causing them and their families untold hardship.
