The Chairman of People's Democratic Party (PDP) Delta State Chapter, Olorogun Barr Kingsley Esiso  has Congratulated the Executive Assistant on Communication to the Governor of Delta State, Barrister Fred Latimore Oghenesivbe, on the auspicious occasion of his birthday anniversary today May 16, 2021.

Esiso described EACGOV Oghenesivbe as a  highly resourceful personality in the world of Communications and media management, adding that he is one of the most active and valuable resource person to the platinum governor of Delta State, Senator Dr Ifeanyi Arthur Okowa.

Esiso in his Congratulatory message further described Barrister Fred Nuvie Latimore Oghenesivbe as a vibrant, distinguished and resourceful media crisis Manager, who has recorded huge success in strategic political Communication and result oriented dissemination of government achievements, policies and programmes since he assumed office as Executive Assistant on Communications to the Executive Governor of Delta State.

While praying for God Almighty to continue to bless Oghenesivbe with Wisdom, Knowledge, Good health and Long life, Esiso said; “It is with profound joy that I write on behalf of the People's Democratic Party, PDP to express our very warm felicitations to you.

Retired police officers protest over unpaid pensions

Some retired police officers under the contributory pension scheme on Tuesday, May 21, protested at the National Assembly over alleged several months of unpaid pensions with a call on President Bola Tinubu to remove them from the scheme. The protesters decried the extreme challenges they endure, saying that the National Pension Commission (PENCOM) has failed to pay their entitlements for several months causing them and their families untold hardship. The aggrieved retired police officers also wrote a Save Our Soul (SOS) letter to the President of the Senate, Godswill Akpabio, calling for an urgent intervention.
