Egbema Youths Call On Comr. Mingo Friday Sayami Ogumaka To Contest For Warri North Constituency II Assembly Seat,


Youths of Egbema Kingdom in Warri North Local Government Area of Delta State have unanimously called on prominent Niger Delta youth leader, Comrade Mingo Friday Sayami Ogumaka, to contest for the newly created Delta State House of Assembly seat for Warri North Constituency II.

The call was made during an emergency meeting convened by the Egbema New Political Wave following the release of the Warri Federal Constituency delineation exercise results by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC).
The meeting, presided over by former President of the Egbema Youth Council Worldwide, Comrade Kelvin City Eferusuoa, described Comrade Mingo as a dependable, selfless, and courageous leader whose contributions to the development, unity, and recognition of Egbema Kingdom remain outstanding.

Addressing members during the gathering, the group urged Comrade Mingo to heed the growing demand from youths and stakeholders across the kingdom to represent Warri North Constituency II in the Delta State House of Assembly.

According to the group, Comrade Mingo has consistently demonstrated uncommon dedication and sacrifice in promoting the interests of Egbema Kingdom and defending the rights of its people within and beyond the Niger Delta region.

“Comrade Mingo Friday Sayami Ogumaka has continued to project the image of Egbema Kingdom through bold advocacy, purposeful leadership, and his commitment to the people. His sacrifices, resilience, and passion for justice have earned him the trust and admiration of Egbema youths,” the statement read.

The youths further noted that the newly created constituency presents a fresh opportunity for quality representation and inclusive development, and Asigborodor and Awanba newly created federal wards opportunity should be giving to them, they stressing that Comrade Mingo possesses the capacity, experience, and grassroots connection required to effectively represent the people.
“We strongly believe that his emergence will bring purposeful leadership, visibility, and sustainable development to Warri North Constituency II. This is a collective call for service to our kingdom and our people,” the group added.

The Egbema New Political Wave also commended the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), High Chief Government Oweizide Ekpemupolo alias Tompolo, Egbema traditional leadership, political stakeholders, and youths of the kingdom for their sacrifices and contributions toward the successful conclusion of the Warri Federal Constituency delineation exercise.

The group stated that the appeal to Comrade Mingo was borne out of the urgent need for credible and people-oriented leadership, adding that the call reflects the genuine aspirations of Egbema youths for progress, unity, and effective representation.
They further appealed to leaders, political stakeholders, and youth organizations across Egbema Kingdom to support the initiative in the overall interest of the kingdom and future generations.

Woman Burned to Death, Accused of Kidnapping 7yrs Old Boy in Delta

Breaking: ASUU suspends 2-week warning strike

The Academic Staff Union of Universities, ASUU, has suspended its two-week warning strike it declared last week across all public universities in the country. The union announced the suspension on Wednesday at a press conference held at its headquarters in Abuja. President of ASUU, Chris Piwuna, who read a prepared speech before newsmen, explained that the development followed intervention by the Senate and some other well-meaning Nigerians.
