Verse, Neroitech Inventions to work with PCRC To Strengthen Police-Community Relations In Nigeria
Neroitech Inventions, a Nigerian information technology and digital innovation company based in Warri, in collaboration with Verse, has announced its participation in the June 2026 General Meeting of the Police Community Relations Committee (PCRC), as part of efforts aimed at strengthening police-community engagement and promoting sustainable national development.
The participation underscores Verse’s growing commitment to grassroots relationship building, civic inclusion, and strategic partnerships that encourage trust, dialogue, and cooperation between Nigerian communities and the Nigeria Police Force.
According to the organisers, the engagement forms part of broader initiatives designed to support the Police Community Relations Department and deepen collaboration with stakeholders dedicated to advancing peace, security, and social cohesion across the country.
The June 2026 PCRC General Meeting is scheduled to hold at the Nigeria Police Force B Division Headquarters in Warri, Delta State, and is expected to attract community leaders, security stakeholders, youth advocates, development partners, and patriotic Nigerians committed to selfless service and national unity.
The latest collaboration follows a series of community-focused engagements recently undertaken by Verse alongside Ridima and CityHub Africa, including a successful outreach event held in Ibadan, Oyo State. Organisers noted that the positive impact and reception from previous engagements further inspired the decision to expand participation in initiatives that bridge the gap between citizens and law enforcement institutions.
Representing Verse at the meeting will be the organisation’s Women Lead in Nigeria representative, Sero Omadevuae, alongside Assistant Akpesiri Thomas. They will be supported by Nyerhowo Isuru, Team Leader at Neroitech Inventions and Alliance Builder at Verse.
Speaking on the importance of the collaboration, representatives of the organisations stressed that meaningful development can only thrive in environments where mutual trust, dialogue, and institutional cooperation exist.
They noted that the initiative aligns with ongoing national conversations around inclusive participation, community-driven development, and the need for stronger institutional relationships capable of fostering long-term peace and stability.
Stakeholders believe that the PCRC platform continues to play a significant role in promoting understanding between the police and members of the public, while also creating opportunities for citizens to contribute actively to community safety and national development.
Observers have also commended increasing private sector and civic organisation participation in community policing initiatives, describing such collaborations as critical to building safer communities and improving public confidence in security institutions.
As preparations continue for the June meeting, Verse and Neroitech Inventions reaffirmed their commitment to supporting initiatives that empower communities, strengthen strategic alliances, and encourage constructive engagement between Nigerians and law enforcement agencies nationwide.
