We Have Lost a Leader in Gbaramatu, Mulade Condoles Kokodiagbene Community, Families Over death of J.G.B. Ari
According to a popular African adage, "When an old man dies a library burns." This is true of the death of our beloved and golden father, a renowned leader in Gbaramatu Kingdom, High Chief Dr. J.G.B. Ari (JP), the Puwei of Gbaramatu Kingdom. His death is like a burning library whose fire cannot be put out, except by Almighty God.
We have lost not just a man, we have also lost a rare gem, a historian, a father to all, a unifier and bridge builder, a peace ambassador, an excellent leader, a great influencer of community and kingdom growth cum development, a great man of unprecedented goodwill. The list is endless.
Chief Dr. J.G.B Ari has played his part and slept. It is now our turn to pick up from where he stopped and try to beat his record by building on his legacies so that he will be proud where he is.
May God grant the Ari family, the peace loving people of Kokodiagbene Community and of the entire Gbaramatu Kingdom the fortitude to bear the irreparable loss. May God comfort and strengthen all of us as we mourn the passage of High Chief Dr. Ari. I also pray for the repose of his golden heart and gentle soul.
Signed:
Chief Amb. Mulade Sheriff, the Ibe-Sorimowei of Gbaramatu Kingdom, and National Coordinator, CEPEJ
