Liberate Delta: Clergies in Delta Endorse Gbagi, Give God His Place When You Become Governor -- Primate Arhawanrien

Few weeks ago, the Governorship candidate of the Social Democratic Party (SDP), Olorogun Barr. Kenneth Gbagi was urged to Give God His Place When he Becomes the Governor of Delta State.

Primate Jonathan Arhawanrien, founder, Saint Lazarus Christ Church Int”l during a Thanksgiving Service organized by the Christian Organization for Good Governance, held at the home of Olorogun Gbagi, at Oginibo, Ughelli south local government area of the state.

The clergy man also Urged Gbagi to seek first the kingdom of God by bringing His Ark which signifies God’s presence into Government House when he assumes office as governor come 2023.

Hear him: “The Ark of God which is the glory of God has not entered government house, the Ark is still outside. The Church is still begging . Since 1991, when the state was created, up til now after 30 years, the Ark is still outside.

“The Church has never taken full control of government, the Church is a barger, they just call us and order us about but the time has come for the Church to determine where the Governor will go”.

Speaking further, Archbishop Arhawanrien, tasked the Church to ensure they get their Permanent Voter’s Cards (PVC), in order to vote in the former minister of State for education who would stand as a representative of God in government house.

“I want to appeal to everyone of you, this time, we must get it right. 2014, the Church tried to bring Okowa in. I can say categorically that 60 percent of that victory was from the Church. We moved round the whole local governments, we campaigned everywhere but today, the Ark is still outside.

“Let the Church take the Bull by the horn that this time, the Ark of God must come in. You must get your PVC”

While noting that Gbagi is full of capacity, ability and knowledge to turn the state around, he urged Gbagi, to give God His place just as he requested that the ministry of Religious Affairs be created to take care of the religious bodies across the state.

“I know you have the ability but one thing you will do for us, you must bring the ark of God inside. As you take leadership position take the ark of God inside government house. Constitute your government with the Church

“Don’t just give us Special Adviser or Christian Pilgrimage position. When you come to power, there should be a ministry of Religious Affairs, the Church should have a budget” he added.
