Delta SDP Congratulates Gbagi Over Conferment Of National Award

Delta State Chapter of the Social Democratic Party (SDP) has congratulated the 2023 Governorship candidate, Olorogun Kenneth Gbagi for the recognition and conferment of the national award; Officer Of The Order Of Niger, OON on him, by President Muhammadu Buhari.

This was contained in a congratulatory message issued by the State Publicity Secretary, Dr George Onyidu, and made available to newsmen on Monday.

The statement reads, "SDP Joins The World To Celebrate Olorogun Kenneth Gbagi, Governorship Candidate of SDP Delta State who has just been nominated for a prestigious award. Gbagi is an industrialist, entrepreneur and a philanthropist".

FocalPoint Reports can authoritatively report that Olorogun Kenneth Gbagi, will on October, 11, 2022, be honoured with a national award of OON (officer of the order of the Niger) by President Mohammadu Buhari.

"The selection of Chief Gbagi (OON)for the award was conveyed in a letter by the Minister of Special Duties and lnter-- Government Affairs,Sen.George Akume.

It was also revealed that the Minister's latter stated that approval for the award to be conferred on Olorogun Kenneth Gbagi (OON)was given by Buhari and that the ceremony would hold at the international conference centre, Abuja at 9am prompt.

The letter from Akume to Chief Gbagi stated; "l have the honour to formally inform you that the president of the Federal Republic of Nigeria,His Excellency, Mohammadu Buhari,has approved the conferment of the National Honour on you, in the rank of OON.
