Says Cheap Blackmail to Pulldown his Business, Political Ambition Not New

Former minister of state for education and Delta state governorship aspirant, Olorogun Kenneth Gbagi, has
 Urged the public especially Deltan's to disregard concocted video and pictures alleging that four persons who were stripped naked in his hotel.


Gbagi made the call during a press conference with journalists in his Oginibo country home, Ughelli South local government area of the state.

He told journalists that the issues were calculated at destroying his political ambition for the 2023 governorship in Delta.


He told journalists that he is not involved in striping any persons naked, adding that the girls on the question are not staff under his employment. He also said some of the persons and lawyers who wrote a petition against him are begging him for money to drop the matter.

Gbagi further noted that mischief-makers and Power seekers staged up the activities to cause disaffection between him and the good people of Delta state.

Going forward on his words Gbagi said, "Persons in the photographs are not staff of my hotel they Are freelancers, The people being lined up are agents prepared for a failed mission". 

"I saw those things when i released that it was planned and arranged, I called the police of Ebrumede division to effect the arrest".

  1. As as you were claiming you said you don't know them they are not your workers but your last statement shows that the effect the arrest by the police how did you know this person if they are really not your workers you are not telling us the truth

  2. If really you don't know them and they are not your staffs then let them come out publicly to denounce the rumours, because your last statement actually showed you know them, the general public is really angry with you. Thank you sir.

Retired police officers protest over unpaid pensions

Some retired police officers under the contributory pension scheme on Tuesday, May 21, protested at the National Assembly over alleged several months of unpaid pensions with a call on President Bola Tinubu to remove them from the scheme. The protesters decried the extreme challenges they endure, saying that the National Pension Commission (PENCOM) has failed to pay their entitlements for several months causing them and their families untold hardship. The aggrieved retired police officers also wrote a Save Our Soul (SOS) letter to the President of the Senate, Godswill Akpabio, calling for an urgent intervention. Speaking on behalf of the protesters, Chairman of the retirees, Christopher Effiong said many of their members have developed terminal illnesses and heart attacks as a result of the frustration associated with the scheme. In a letter dated May 21 and addressed to Senate President Godswill Akpabio, the retirees said many of their colleagues have lost their lives due to the prevai
