Delta Ijaw youths From Ogbolubiri Converges in Warri, Strategizes to Create Jobs, Tackle Underdevelopment

Ijaw youths from the Ogbolubiri Kingdom,

Burutu local government area Delta State, on Sunday, converged in Warri, strategize to support the five communities under the Kingdom from poverty occasioned by underdevelopment.

The meeting was organized by the ogbolubiri clan youth President, Prince Mokena Mienbi, hosted by Goddy Smith a.k.a Bounanawei

In a statement by the spoke man Sawasha Onos, he disclosed that they seek to institutionalise the youth body and jointly appeal to the Chairman of Burutu Local Government, Hon. Godknows Angele to work closely with the youth body for the furtherance of the Kingdom.

They also encourage prominent leaders from the kingdom to influence sustainable development and employment to the communities.

Breaking: ASUU suspends 2-week warning strike

The Academic Staff Union of Universities, ASUU, has suspended its two-week warning strike it declared last week across all public universities in the country. The union announced the suspension on Wednesday at a press conference held at its headquarters in Abuja. President of ASUU, Chris Piwuna, who read a prepared speech before newsmen, explained that the development followed intervention by the Senate and some other well-meaning Nigerians.
