General Abugor Celebrates Amori @ 68 described him as Political Octopus of Delta Politics 



General John Abugor aka point one , Chairman Presidential Amnesty Phase three and leader of Niger Delta Emancipation Camp,  has described Senator  Chief  Conference  Ighoyota Amori as the indomitable  political Octopus of Delta politics
General John Abugor made this statement on Friday 7th August at Asaba the Delta State Capital in a goodwill message to Chief Amori to mark his  birthday  as he recently clocked 68 years in his journey on mother earth. 
Speaking further, General  Abugor the Amnesty boss observed:  " We the  loyal boys to the political philosophy of Amori count it all joy to be part of the success story of the celebrant at 68  as we  grow through the mentorship of the political University of  Amoribility .
Continuing , Abugor remarked saying :  " At 68 ,I celebrate Chief Amori as  a man who paid the price to groom the new breed politicians in Delta state who are in the front row today in the political field in and out of Delta State
Abugor who pointed out that Amori is the godfather of all politicians in Ethiope West said :  " When you talk about politics in Ethiope West,  Amori is an Oracle you must consult because at 68 we still celebrate him as the godfather of every politician  that commands respect in the  Delta State. 
 Abugor posited that, the birthday of Chief Amori is an opportunity to show him more love  and to demonstrate how  nuch we apprciate his political contributions to our lives as individuals , communities, Kingdoms and beyond. 
 Giving specific examples he   explained  : " We celebrate  Amori at 68 because he is  father figure,   a Unifying leader, a  reference point that  cut across the   political spectrum  in Delta Central,  Urhobo Nation in  particular and Delta state in general. 
According to Abugor , the people of Ethiope West are proud of Chief Amori 's political achievement in attracting notable government projects to their locality hence the accolades and the loud ovation which followed the marking of his birthday at 68.
Abugor maintained in his congratulatory message to chief Amori saying ;  " At 68 we are thanking God for the milestones and the political  heights  we have attained in Ethiope  West particularly the Mosogar and Jesse axis  hrough the instrumentality  of Chief  Amori whom we are celebrating today as the political octopus. at 68.
He added :  " Chief Amori at 68 in the political front is to us the people of Ethiope West the way king James  was to the Anglosaxons in biblical time. 
Abugor who further painted a comely picture of Amori  said : " At 68 , Chief Amori is best celebrated as a  dependable  symbol of leadership,  a mentor to emulate if you are interested in becoming a high flier in the political space of Delta State.

Retired police officers protest over unpaid pensions

Some retired police officers under the contributory pension scheme on Tuesday, May 21, protested at the National Assembly over alleged several months of unpaid pensions with a call on President Bola Tinubu to remove them from the scheme. The protesters decried the extreme challenges they endure, saying that the National Pension Commission (PENCOM) has failed to pay their entitlements for several months causing them and their families untold hardship.
