Social Movement for Good Governance: Why Deltans Should Support Gbagi... Temienor

The Chairman of Delta Social Movement for Gbagi, Prince Temienor Oghenekevwe has stated That; The best candidate to take over from Governor Ifeanyi Okowa of Delta State in 2023 is Delta's most celebrated brave-hearted and foresighted leader, Olorogun Barr. Kenneth Gbagi. A man with proven sagacity to lead and confront poverty.


Speaking with news men on Saturday in Ughelli, on the upcoming flagof of the Delta Social Movement for Gbagi, he stated that;

"Deltans cannot afford to vote for any candidate that has committed to running on the failed policies of other administrations. Delta State needs a breath of fresh air of all-around development in Infrastructure and Human Capital.

"Gbagi's ability to harness opportunities and resources will make federal allocation a supplementary source of income for the state. It will be needless to depend on allocations when the state will be bubbling with industries.



"All have the responsibility to liberate Delta State from being the 4th most indebted state in Nigeria with a debt of more than N272.03 billion Naira.

"Deltans must take responsibility to install good Governance because; a day in bad governance is equal to twenty years of setbacks. Olorogun Kenneth Gbagi's Governorship ambition as a social movement and the renewed hope for Deltans.


"Serious-minded Deltans should not be deceived or swayed by unrealistic promises, the defining moment to restore hope is now.

"Join The Social Movement, Rescue Delta State; Olorogun Kenneth GBAGI is the answer".

Retired police officers protest over unpaid pensions

Some retired police officers under the contributory pension scheme on Tuesday, May 21, protested at the National Assembly over alleged several months of unpaid pensions with a call on President Bola Tinubu to remove them from the scheme. The protesters decried the extreme challenges they endure, saying that the National Pension Commission (PENCOM) has failed to pay their entitlements for several months causing them and their families untold hardship. The aggrieved retired police officers also wrote a Save Our Soul (SOS) letter to the President of the Senate, Godswill Akpabio, calling for an urgent intervention.
