See How Ernest Bebenimibo Foundation Touched Lives, Gave Out Educational Materials To Pupils, Students in Bayelsa, Edo 


 Ernest Bebenimibo Foundation (EBF),   has empowered pupils and students with educational materials worth millions of Naira in the Niger Delta region of Nigeria.

The educational support programme which is a regular feature of his STREET TO SCHOOL PROJECT  that commenced in Delta state was recently expanded to other states in the Niger Delta region on the 20th of September 2022.

FocalPoint Reports gathered the; EBF had on the 20th of September 2022 visited IMGBELA PRIMARY SCHOOL,ODI, IGEITA PRIMARY SCHOOL,ODI and KING BOLOU NURSERY AND PRIMARY SCHOOL, ODI in Kolokuma/Opokuma (KOLGA) Local Government Area of Bayelsa State to impact lives positively.

 The President and founder of the Ernest Bebenimibo Foundation (EBF) confirmed that about 2000 pupils were reached in Bayelsa. 



OAs The initiative progresses, on the 21st of September 2022, the foundation visited RUBBER RESEARCH INSTITUTE PRIMARY and  SECONDARY SCHOOLS, OLOGBO, OBARENTIN  COMMUNITY, EDO STATE, reaching out to over 800 pupils with customised bags, notebooks and other writing materials. 

The president of the foundation noted that; "Ernest Bebenimibo Foundation will continue to reach out to more pupils in the region. The STREET TO SCHOOL PROJECT #ebfstreettoschool is a yearly educational support outreach project carried by EBF since the year 2000. This year we decided to enlarge the scope to reach out to four states in Nigeria namely: Ondo, Bayelsa, Edo and Delta State".


Items Presented were customised school bags, notebooks and other educational material. Ernest Bebenimibo further said; "Our core message to the children is that they should be hopeful because, surely their tomorrow will be greater than today if they work hard, maintain focus, read their books and learn a skill". 


Pupils, teachers and community leaders present were overwhelmed with joy as they poured out heartfelt prayers for all volunteers, donors, supporters and leaders of ERNEST BEBENIMIBO FOUNDATION. 

The president and Founder used the medium to call on the federal, State and local government to partner with progressive NGOs and civil society groups to impact the society positively.

Retired police officers protest over unpaid pensions

Some retired police officers under the contributory pension scheme on Tuesday, May 21, protested at the National Assembly over alleged several months of unpaid pensions with a call on President Bola Tinubu to remove them from the scheme. The protesters decried the extreme challenges they endure, saying that the National Pension Commission (PENCOM) has failed to pay their entitlements for several months causing them and their families untold hardship. The aggrieved retired police officers also wrote a Save Our Soul (SOS) letter to the President of the Senate, Godswill Akpabio, calling for an urgent intervention.
