Gbagi Donates 40-bed Hospital, Organised Free Treatment in Delta

The governorship candidate of the Social Democratic Party, SDP, in Delta State and industrialist, Olorogun Barr. Kenneth Gbagi, has proved to Deltans that if he is elected in 2023, he will ensure the industrial revolution that will occur within his one year in office.

This was proved with humanitarian gestures, at his Oginibo country home in Ughelli South local government area, on the occasion of his birthday celebration where he used the occasion to give humanitarian support and medical care to all inneed.

Olorogun Kenneth Gbagi joyfully gave out well Furnished-built 40-bed Hospital after he organized a free medical treatment to support the people of Ughelli South and the general public.

Gbagi also laid a foundation stone for Oginibo Community Catholic Church to mark his birthday which was celebrated with prominent men of God, religious leaders, and twelve catholic priest showering blessings on him.

The birthday anniversary, on Thursday, September 22, 2022, began with a Thanksgiving service at his private Heaven family Chapel, Oginibo with Very Rev. F. Samuel Efetobore Tolosi moderating the church service alongside other Rev. fathers.

"In a statement, Gbagi Said; "Today is my birthday and I want to thank all of you for finding time, particularly supporting me with your presence. A lot has happened, it calls for serious and plenty more celebrations.

"As part of my birthday, I plead with the great men of God that we as a family are dedicating and handling over a fully furnished-built 40 Bed Hospital to the Catholic world.

"In 2010, I bought land in this community. This community is one of the oldest communities but I'm not comfortable that we have not been able to root ourselves the way we ought to in the Catholic faith. So I bought land good enough for a good church and a parish priest and other offices to make the Catholic faith stronger here.

"When I spoke with the Bishop, not this one, the previous Bishop; we cannot be so long, so long in the Catholic faith and wouldn't have a priest in Oginibo". He said the Bishop told him, "Take the initiative to build a good church and a father house but don't build the house alone. Allow people from your community to put even one bag of Cement or sand.

"Haven bought the land, then it went through rigors of our faith, documentation of the church putting together. Today subject to your convenience, we will lay the foundation of that church.

"Nothing would be greater in life, there is no point in me insisting that I want to go and be a governor, I want to run for governor and my people are dying with stride. That is why my wife and I took the initiative.

"The Hospital is so equipped that we are ready to take in patients today. We have Solar, we have NEPA, we have a generator. We made it the way it ought to be".
