Kenneth Gbagi's Trajectory of Success Without Blemish, Passion To Rebuild Delta State

Kenneth Gbagi's Trajectory of Success Without Blemish, Passion To Rebuild Delta State

 By Ezekiel Kagbala

Former Minister of State for Education, Attorney, Investor, and currently a politician without blemish; Governorship candidate of the Social Democratic Party for Delta State 2023 Governorship, Olorogun Barr. Kenneth Gbagi.

As part of his landmark history of success, Gbagi was the youngest lawyer to ever head the Legal Aid Council of Nigeria. There was no record of involvement in bribery and corruption as a public office holder who reluctantly accepted a ministerial appointment from President Goodluck Jonathan.

Recall that he (Gbagi) was given ministerial offers from former Head of State, Late Gen. Sani Abacha, and former President, Olusegun Obasanjo, he rejected all offers before settling for one during Goodluck Jonathan's administration.

An encounter with Gbagi revealed that he is a philanthropist who extended his benevolence to every person and did not make promises he could not keep as a politician.

Olorogun Kenneth Gbagi's venture into politics was an answer to a clarion call to make a positive change in terms of developmental Growth and restoration of Delta's lost glory since its creation.

It will interest you to know that when Delta State was about to be created, Gbagi came back home and built a house before the creation of our Home State, Delta State. He wanted to further his contribution to the physical and economic development of the State at all levels.

Currently, It is distressing that Delta State is now suffering from the worst form of underdevelopment, poverty, and unemployment at the hands of corrupt politicians with questionable characters. Gbagi refused to join the cartel of dubious Politicians.

When Gbagi was in the Peoples’ Democratic Party (PDP), the former National Chairman, Late Dr. Bamanga Tukur, said the party and Delta State are privileged to have renowned entrepreneur, Kenneth Gbagi in the 2023 governorship race in the state.

Tukur reaffirmed that the party needed leaders like Olorogun Kenneth Gbagi to achieve this strength, Unity because Gbagi is honest to the core.

However, Governor Okowa betrayed Gbagi and others. Truthfully man cannot play God, PDP in Delta State is falling apart due to dishonesty and selfish interest. Little wonder, Senator James Manager (Delta South) said that; 'Delta State PDP is drowning and dying gradually".

For Olorogun Kenneth Gbagi, his records are clean, uncontroversial, and unquestionable.
