Delta state governorship candidate of the Social Democratic Party, SDP Olorogun Kenneth Gbagi has concluded plans to make a grand entry into the palace of His Royal Majesty (HRM), Matthew Ediri, the Okobaro of Ughievwe kingdom, Otu-Ughievwen, Ughelli South Local Government area.

Gbagi Solidarity Movement GSM disclosed that; the people of the Ughieven kingdom are also ready to welcome their illustrious son, who is the Ame of the Ughievwen Kingdom.

The homecoming is expected to elicit royal hands of the Ughievwen monarch in prayer for Gbagi who is a man of honesty, sincerity, truthfulness, and character.

the homecoming ceremony is worth celebrating because Gbagi has visited royal fathers and traditional rulers in his quest to be in the government house, Asaba, come 2023 as a governor of the state.

This time, the highly celebrated governorship candidate of SDP is coming home to his kingdom, the pride of Ughelli South Local Government Area to localize his political movement with the grassroots.

Retired police officers protest over unpaid pensions

Some retired police officers under the contributory pension scheme on Tuesday, May 21, protested at the National Assembly over alleged several months of unpaid pensions with a call on President Bola Tinubu to remove them from the scheme. The protesters decried the extreme challenges they endure, saying that the National Pension Commission (PENCOM) has failed to pay their entitlements for several months causing them and their families untold hardship.
