2023: Gbagi, Adewale of SDP Visits Traditional Ruler, Unveils Agenda for Nigeria, Delta State

Presidential candidate of the Social Democratic Party (SDP), Prince Adewale Adebayo and Delta State Governorship candidate 2023, Olorogun Barr. Kenneth Gbagi has visited The Odion Logbo of Oleh Kingdom, HRM Anthony Onovughe Ovrawah to unveil their agenda for positive transformation of Nigeria and Delta State.

Gbagi and Adewale of SDP enjoyed a warm reception on Saturday, August 20th, 2022 in Oleh, Isoko South Local Government Area, as they both received blessings from the royal father who prayed for their electoral victory.

Prominent members of the Party (SDP) who accompanied the presidential candidate noted that; Nigeria Must be rescued, they want to change the narrative and that; they have the candidates to achieve that. They visited the monarch to get his blessings and support.

Former Minister of Sports, Solomon Dalung, who also accompanied Adewale on the royal consultation stated that: "We are interested in the unity of the country. SDP is the right alternative for Nigeria come 2023, Nigeria can scrutinize our Presidential candidate, we are not presenting someone who will be a traveler. We are presenting a Nationalist who will restore Nigeria.


"No one should sell their Votes for money, all should vote for good Governance. Anyone who wants to give money for the 2023 Election to get votes, have something to hide".

Adewale, a Lawyer, and Founder of the KAFTAN Television who is also, the presidential flagbearer of SDP, in his appreciation speech said; "Nigeria is blessed with wealth that could takes care of everyone in the country. This land doesn't need anything new, all that is needed is to allow the people enjoy what God has given to them.

"The wealth belongs here, Delta State is wealthy, I see no reason Delta State should not be more beautiful than Dubai. Much has been stolen out of the country and Delta's oil has been stolen out to other countries. You need a strong governor, Kenneth Gbagi who has seen money and has gone around the world. The wealth of the people will be for the people when I become the president".


He concluded his speech, stating that; Nigeria, Delta State does not need anything new, all that is needed is to allow the people benefit from their resources.

The State Governorship candidate of SDP, Olorogun Kenneth Gbagi in his speech reiterated that Deltans will enjoy free education and better economic prospect upon his emergence as governor of Delta State.

Retired police officers protest over unpaid pensions

Some retired police officers under the contributory pension scheme on Tuesday, May 21, protested at the National Assembly over alleged several months of unpaid pensions with a call on President Bola Tinubu to remove them from the scheme. The protesters decried the extreme challenges they endure, saying that the National Pension Commission (PENCOM) has failed to pay their entitlements for several months causing them and their families untold hardship.
