Urhobo group Urges Delta-Central to mobilise PDP for Kenneth Gbagi 2023 Governorship


 Says; independent Candidate with proven integrity will be the best option for Delta State

Has called on the Delta Central people in the People's Democratic Party PDP to support Chief Kenneth Gbagi for the 2023  Delta State Governorship, adding the Gbagi will be an independent Candidate with the capacity and resources to sponsor himself.





Speaking during a meeting of the group at Ughelli on Tuesday March 16 2021, the spokesperson of the group, Comrade Onoriode Felix disclosed that the 2023 Governorship race will not be for those being spoonfed by their masters, rather the masters themselves will show capacity of admistrative ability.

he  also apealed to the three sena­torial Districts, the Ijaws, Isoko Itsekiri's Delta Central and  PDP leaders to support Kenneth Gbagi, adding that 2023 will be a time to get it right and put the state on the path of holistic economic growth.

The group  futher reiterated that Gbagi will be a star candidate with proven integrity, capacity and popularity from the PDP family to emerge as the 2023 Governorship candidate.


He further said that Gbagi has proven over time his ability to bring sustainable economic growth to the state, adding that with Kenneth Gbagi, Delta state must be great as supposed.

Retired police officers protest over unpaid pensions

Some retired police officers under the contributory pension scheme on Tuesday, May 21, protested at the National Assembly over alleged several months of unpaid pensions with a call on President Bola Tinubu to remove them from the scheme. The protesters decried the extreme challenges they endure, saying that the National Pension Commission (PENCOM) has failed to pay their entitlements for several months causing them and their families untold hardship.
