Expired, Desperate Politicians Are Shouting On TV – Nuhu Ribadu Blasts Tinubu Critics

National Security Adviser (NSA), Nuhu Ribadu has stated that President Bola Tinubu is a very educated and digital leader.

He warned those who underestimate him that they do so at their own peril.

Ribadu, who spoke on Wednesday in Abuja at the National Cyber Security Conference 2025, which had the theme ‘Building a Resilient Digital Future’, criticised individuals who opposed Tinubu’s administration.

The NSA berated politicians constantly granting interviews on Television to rubbish Tinubu’s government, maintaining that they are simply desperate for power.

He insisted that Nigeria is safer and better under Tinubu, adding that the economy is already stabilising.

Addressing the audience of foreigners and Nigerians, he said, “We have quality leadership today in our country.

“Mr. President is a digital President and educated. Yes, he is very enlightened. He knows things. People under-estimate him at their own peril.”

Continuing, Ribadu said: “Things are changing. We are stabilising things. Forget about what some people are saying.

“Nigeria is getting safer and better every single day. Our economy is stabilising. Things are getting better day by day.

“We have changed things. We are in control. We work with big telecom companies closely. Nigeria is safe, forget about these people who are talking nonsense.

“Niger Delta is safer than ever before. South-East is beginning to be normal. Those who are creating problems there and are outside the country, we are going to jail them there.

“We will not allow the money they are sending to Nigeria. We are working and getting results. Many people don’t recognise these.

“These are desperate, expired people who believe that it is an entitlement for them to continue to be in the corridors of power.

“They think it is their right to be in power, to be in our spaces. They go to Channels or Arise TV, they are shouting.

“They are outdated. These are people who looted and plundered this country before, they believe in entitlement, that is for them to continue to do what they like.

“But Nigerians are wiser. They created problems, religious, ethnic, political problems. We are trying to address them, they should give us chance, please.”

The NSA, therefore, called on telecom companies and foreign investors to invest in the country, adding that Nigeria is the future of Africa.
