Gbagi, SDP Leaders Storms Ekiti, Set to Deliver Segun Oni

Frontline Delta State 2023 Governorship candidate of the Social Democratic Party (SDP) Olorogun Kenneth Gbagi and party leaders have stormed Ekiti State ahead of the governorship election scheduled to hold June 18.

Gbagi who joined party leaders singled out the former Governor, Segun Oni of SDP as the best to succeed Governor Kayode Fayemi among Six governorship candidates in the race.

The National Chairman, Shehu Musa Gabam, Chief Kenneth Gbagi and the party faithfuls appealed to the Ekiti people to vote for Segun Oni.

Gbagi who is a prominent chief of Yorubaland, in his message of appeal said that; “When you have a good man as Oni, you don’t need to worry. He will deliver, he will not lie to you”.

Retired police officers protest over unpaid pensions

Some retired police officers under the contributory pension scheme on Tuesday, May 21, protested at the National Assembly over alleged several months of unpaid pensions with a call on President Bola Tinubu to remove them from the scheme. The protesters decried the extreme challenges they endure, saying that the National Pension Commission (PENCOM) has failed to pay their entitlements for several months causing them and their families untold hardship.
