Panic As Customers Looses Money to UBA Bank in Delta

The customer care of UBA bank in Warri, Delta State has been flooded with several complaints of the Bank debiting customers who did not perform any form of transactions.

This came as a customer, who pleaded anonymity, on Wednesday, 10 November 2021 lamented that the sum of 10,200 naira has been debited from his savings account while asleep.

According to Bank ethics, bank debits are only permitted by the account holder and any fees are legally allowed when a customer legally signs the account opening documents. However, the rampant debits have been done without the awareness and permission of the customers.

Our corrospendent who visited UBA bank in Okumagba Layout, Warri was hinted by the bank authority that the bank has been battling with severe network problems and the customers whose monies has been deducted will be reverted within some weeks.
