Putting APC-like Characters in Power, A Suicidal-Mission-: Gbagi

The capital city of Delta State, Asaba was agoged as the front line governorship aspirant, Olorogun Kenneth Gbagi moved crowd of supporters to the State People's Democratic Party, PDP secretariat to declare his interest before the party to contest the 2023 Delta State Governorship Election.

Durring his Declaration, Gbagi stated that it will be sucidal to repeat the mistake of puting APC-like characters in power again.

Olorogun Gbagi made this statement in Asaba on Wednesday, 17th as he moved his consultation train to the People's Democratic Party, State Secretariat, where he consulted with the PDP State Chairman, Barr. Kingsley Esiso and all the party Executives.

He stated: "I am not campaigning today I just came to inform you that I will contest the election come 2023.

"We want men and women that by their own capacity can create employment. If the past government had done the roads there will be no need to do roads again. But we can't bring in industries where there is no road. Governor Ifeanyi  Okowa is a governor with character and has done incredibly well and I am contesting to build on his legacy.

"Delta State requires a name to be proud of. I have what it takes.

"We need to change the narrative and give the youths a gainful employment. that what they have done for legacy to judge, is all that will be remembered when they are gone.

The PDP State Chairman, Barr. Kingsley Esiso in response, applauded Gbagi for acknowledging the achievements of the Current Delta State Government in his speech.

Barr. Esiso asserted that a lot of eminent and qualified people are interested in governorship election. He then stated that anybody who believes he is available to govern the state is free to aspire. But as much as they believe they are qualified to contest, others also have the right to contest.

Barr. Kingsley Esiso concluded by stating that the Executive members of the People's Democratic Party are now aware that Gbagi is contesting for the 2023 Governorship.
