2023: Prepare For Free, Fair, Credible Primary Election, Delta PDP Chairman, Esiso Tells Gbagi

The Frontline 2023 Delta State Governorship aspirant, Olorogun Kenneth Gbagi has been told to prepare for free and fair People's Democratic Party, PDP primary Election.


Delta State PDP Chairman, Chief Barrister Kingsley Esiso made the statement in Sapele, local government area as Gbagi officially paid him a consultative visit to declare his intention to run for Governorship in 2023 elections.


Sapele Delta State was agog on Saturday june12 with PDP faithfuls and supporters who gave Gbagi a rousing reception  that looks like a canival.

The consultative visit brought  the two layers in one political party together to also enjoy the blend of  democracy day and further strengthen political ties between Gbagi and members of the Party family.


The woman PDP woman leader of Jeremi ward two, Ughelli South Ward Nine, Mrs Oghenechovwe Christian who mobilise women of the party to accompany him noted that Gbagi will give Delta State the best of governance if elected in 2023.

Kenneth Gbagi who apreciate the mamot crowd briefed Esiso and others present, he said, "I am ready for Delta state 2023 governorship. As a foundation member and  oldest member of the PDP in the State I want to fly the Party's flag come 2023"


"We have carried out youth movement and know what it takes to win elections in Delta State".

"I have met Governors of the state from 2019 till date and i can tell you that Governor Okowa is honnest. We will partner with all tribes to make the governorship a reality We will work with Okowa to finish strong after then we will work to bring hope, food and future to the yoiths in Delta State".



 
Barrister Esisso who apreciated the visit noted that there will be no imposition in 2023 Governorship adding that here will be promaries. Esiso said. "I will support a canditate when the candidate emerge after the primaries. In delta State there is only one party APC has become usless noise makers. 

Assuring that PDP Will win Delts state anytime he also said "No reasonable Deltan can be a member of APC". Many politicians are PDP when they in Delta, in Abuja, they are PDP."

Breaking: ASUU suspends 2-week warning strike

The Academic Staff Union of Universities, ASUU, has suspended its two-week warning strike it declared last week across all public universities in the country. The union announced the suspension on Wednesday at a press conference held at its headquarters in Abuja. President of ASUU, Chris Piwuna, who read a prepared speech before newsmen, explained that the development followed intervention by the Senate and some other well-meaning Nigerians. However, he sad the National Executive Council of the Union resolved to give the government a one-month window to address all contending areas.
