Delta Governorship Aspirant, Kenneth Gbagi Congratulate PDP's Jude Ogbimi For Winning Isoko North Constituency By-election

A foremost governorship aspirant and former minister of State for Education, Olorogun Barr. Kenneth Gbagi, has felicitated with the People Democratic Party (PDP) family and the candidate of the party who stood for the Saturday 10th April 2021, Isoko North Constituency By-election, Mr. Jude Ogbimi, for the landslide victory.

In a press statement on Sunday April 11th 2021, signed by Olorogun Barr. Kenneth Gbagi and made available to newsmen by his Media Assistant, Kenneth Orusi, the industrialist, said Ogbimi's victory is a well-deserved one, as the party went to the nooks and crannies of Isoko North Constituency to campaign vigorously.

"I want to commend the Delta State Governor, Senator Dr. Ifeanyi Arthur Okowa, the PDP, party leaders and members, security agencies especially the police, the Independent National Electoral Commission for ensuring a peaceful and a successful election in Isoko north.

"I urge the House of Assembly-elect, to ensure that he makes legislations that will bring massive growth and development to his Constituency and the State in general during his tenure in the House.

“With his core competences in strong leadership skills, I trust he will bring his wealth of experience to bear especially in attracting development, ensuring that PDP grow stronger in his Constituency and assist the governor in the finishing strong agenda.

“As you prepare to be sworn-in as member representing Isoko North State Constituency in the House of Assembly, the PDP family and your immediate family, colleagues and admirers have cause to be grateful to God for having granted you this opportunity to serve your people.

Breaking: ASUU suspends 2-week warning strike

The Academic Staff Union of Universities, ASUU, has suspended its two-week warning strike it declared last week across all public universities in the country. The union announced the suspension on Wednesday at a press conference held at its headquarters in Abuja. President of ASUU, Chris Piwuna, who read a prepared speech before newsmen, explained that the development followed intervention by the Senate and some other well-meaning Nigerians.
