Gbagi enjoys heart warming reception from the King and the Kingdom.


Delta State Governorship Aspirant, for  2023, Chief Kenneth Gbagi has paid a consultative visit to Idjerhe monarch, His Royal Majesty, Monday Whiskey, Udurhie I, the Ovie of Idjerhe kingdom, Ethiope west local government area of the state.

Chief Gbagi, promised to attract investors who will create unlimited economic opportunities for Deltans. He stated this on Thursday April 8th 2021, during the consultative visit to the monarch, in Jese town, Ethiope west local government area, Delta state



Said speaks: "I have all it takes to alleviate poverty from Delta state".

 

“With regards to this election, I am an interested party, the progress of this state is of interest and paramount interest to me."

Gbagi told the monarch and the  of Chiefs that his records are clean as an Investmentor with businesses spread across the state and the country at large.

Gbagi assures that when he is elected governor, he would not forget them.



The King urged Gbagi to go on wider consultation and be open to suggestions especially when they have superior arguments.



The king assured the industrialist that his people are with him for coming to pay to his maternal hame as an Idjerhe person maternally. 


“It is my hope and desire that I will alleviate poverty from our youths. We have reached the stage where a good number of our aged fathers and mothers have been deserted without help. It is part of our plans, programmes and by the grace of God, we will do something about it at the appropriate time.


“These young boys you are seeing, by the grace of God, I have removed them from the street”.

Breaking: ASUU suspends 2-week warning strike

The Academic Staff Union of Universities, ASUU, has suspended its two-week warning strike it declared last week across all public universities in the country. The union announced the suspension on Wednesday at a press conference held at its headquarters in Abuja. President of ASUU, Chris Piwuna, who read a prepared speech before newsmen, explained that the development followed intervention by the Senate and some other well-meaning Nigerians. However, he sad the National Executive Council of the Union resolved to give the government a one-month window to address all contending areas.
