The fleeing suspects abandoned a motorcycle, which was subsequently recovered by the troops.
In a separate operation in Malumfashi Local Government Area, troops acted on intelligence regarding terrorist activities at Ruwan Sanyi Village.
The operation, which took place at about 11:10 p.m. on March 14, led to another confrontation between the troops and the suspected terrorists.
The assailants reportedly fled the scene with suspected gunshot wounds, as blood stains were discovered in the area.
