You have done well for Deltan's Warri South LG Boss Michael Tidi Commends  Mulade.... 
The executive Chairman, Warri South Local Government Area, Hon. Michael Tidi on Friday commended Comrade Sheriff Mulade and his team for organising a football tournament to unite the Ijaws and Itsekiris.
The LG boss Michael Tidi, O.D. Akambe; Head of personnel Management, warri south LGA, Hon. Eboh Okpako Elvis; supervisor for youth, sport and community development, warri south LGA and Jakpa Emmanuel, chairman warri economic summit Group, who received Comrade Sheriff  Mulade and his team for the Ijaw/Itsekiri unity cup 2019 in Warri noted that, this is not the first time Comrade sheriff Mulade is embarking on such noble venture to unite the two ethnic groups. He also added that the Ijaw/Itsekiri unity cup will cement peace in Delta by promoting peaceful coexistence.

Comrade sheriff Mulade, the chief organizer of the football tournament noted that leaders from the two ethnic groups are well informed about the upcoming football competition, the Warri south LGA have a key roll to play in the tournament.

Comrade Mulade and his team presented a Jessy to the chairman officially assigning him a prominent role in conclusion of arrangements for the 2019 unity football cup tournament which would feature the Ijaw and Itsekiri communities in Delta state.

Retired police officers protest over unpaid pensions

Some retired police officers under the contributory pension scheme on Tuesday, May 21, protested at the National Assembly over alleged several months of unpaid pensions with a call on President Bola Tinubu to remove them from the scheme. The protesters decried the extreme challenges they endure, saying that the National Pension Commission (PENCOM) has failed to pay their entitlements for several months causing them and their families untold hardship. The aggrieved retired police officers also wrote a Save Our Soul (SOS) letter to the President of the Senate, Godswill Akpabio, calling for an urgent intervention.
