Warri South-West Local Government Area Chairman, Hon Taiye Duke Tuoyo, has advocated the need to adopt sport for promotion of ethnic unity and peaceful coexistence among the various ethnic groups in the LGA and Delta State at large.

The chairman made the accertion recently as members of the local organising committee of Mulade Sheriff Peace and Unity Cup led by its LOC Chairman, Hon Kenneth Nwamuocha recently paid a Courtesy call to the LGA boss who is also a Host of the upcoming competition.

The chairman commended the initiator, Comrade Mulade Sheriff for promoting peace coexistence among the various ethnic groups in the LGA and Delta State at large.

Breaking: ASUU suspends 2-week warning strike

The Academic Staff Union of Universities, ASUU, has suspended its two-week warning strike it declared last week across all public universities in the country. The union announced the suspension on Wednesday at a press conference held at its headquarters in Abuja. Woman Burned to Death, Accused of Kidnapping 7yrs Old Boy in Delta

The incident happened on Wednesday, September 24, 2025.
