IJAW/ITSEKIRI PEACE/UNITY CUP 2019: DESOPADEC COMMISSIONER, DIRECTOR RECEIVES SPORT COMMITTEE, PROMISE SUPPORT, COMMENDS LOC, SHERIFF MULADE

The upcoming 2019 Ijaw/Itsekiri Peace And Unity Cup today Friday gets another motivational support as the committee led by the Chairman, Hon. Peter Nwobocha leads members to visit the Delta State oil Producing Area Development Development Commission, DESOPADEC in Warri.

The sport committee was revived by the commissioner representing the Ijaw ethnic nationality, Dr. Paul Bebenimbo and the Executive director, Planing and statistics, Comrade Shadrach Agedigha.

The Ijaw ethnic commissioner, Dr. Paul Bebenimbor and the ED Planing and statics who received the organising committee promise to support the tournament in their capacity.

Members of the local organising committee of the tournament hinted that Every body within Ijaw and Itsekiri is involved.

Shadrach Agediga after receiving the organising committee said "We will support in our capacity, this tournament is an answer to development, as a commission we are for intervention and the area need to be peaceful for the agency to do its job effectively".

He commended the organiser of the tournament, Comrade Sherriff Mulade and members of the LOC, describing the football tournament as an instrument for peace building and unity.
