Man Wishes Ex-Wife A Better Lover On Her Birthday

A Nigerian man identified as Okuna Nelson, has sent out a heartfelt message to his ex-wife on her birthday.

Nelson in his post on Facebook did not give the reason for their divorce but decided pen down something beautiful for his ex-wife who he described as his first love.

He took to his Facebook page on Thursday to wish her a happy birthday and also share a heartfelt prayer for her.

Nelson also shared photos from their wedding in his post and wrote;

“I know you didn’t wish me happy birthday because you left but that’s won’t make me a wicked man or stop me to wish you well on your day, you’re the first woman in my life to mk me say i do in the alter of God . I remember when i got married to you i always wanted to give u a big surprise birthday gift but the chance was not given. Anyway i got the gift but you’re no where to be found. Happy birthday to princess. God bless your new home and give u a better man than me and all the happiness you deserve. Happy birthday”

Retired police officers protest over unpaid pensions

Some retired police officers under the contributory pension scheme on Tuesday, May 21, protested at the National Assembly over alleged several months of unpaid pensions with a call on President Bola Tinubu to remove them from the scheme. The protesters decried the extreme challenges they endure, saying that the National Pension Commission (PENCOM) has failed to pay their entitlements for several months causing them and their families untold hardship. The aggrieved retired police officers also wrote a Save Our Soul (SOS) letter to the President of the Senate, Godswill Akpabio, calling for an urgent intervention.
