Beaking News: Warri Burns as Fire Wreaks Havoc on Warri/Effurun Water Facility

The Warri/Effurun Water board facility in Airport Road Warri Delta State got fire, wreaking destructive havoc on the nonfunctional water facilities.
Car Dealers around the popular Effurun/Warri Airport road were all caught up trying to salvage their properties following the fire incident.
There was no death in the fire which began at about 12 Pm on Thursday, level of damage to the properties could not be asceertained at press time.
The fire was said to have been caused by the negligence of some labourers hired to clear the environment that is overrun by weeds. They set the fire to burn dry grasses and the fire span out of control.
However, the Zonal manager, state urban water cooperation, Engr Bemigho Enonuya who briefed FocalPoint Reports thanked fire fighters from the Nigerian Port Authority for their prompt response.
He also called on the State Government to provide fire fighting equipment to enable them respond to fire emergencies.
